Spirit of Scotland..

I was so lucky to capture this video while I was roaming in Old Market Square taking some snaps of Nottingham Eye and some of night scenes (will be posted soon). You can hear the melodies of these drums from very distance but you must see the Scottish Dancer. I believe this is some sort of a traditional performing but, I don't know much details about it so I'm not going to write about it even though I would love to. May be one day I could write about these amazing cultures I see in Nottingham. But for the time being, enjoy the video.

Asian Supper!

As I can remember, we wanted to organize this event for no reason and only for us. But at the end we decided to invite some of our European friends too. Among the invitees, Mario, Hoolio (Sorry if I have misspelled your name mate..) and Loic (who did not show up....lol) and Nica, Christine, Anne, Jana and Maria, the lovely girls who made the event glamorous.

Salman and Fahad, took care of the the chicken and Parata. That was one heck of a job mates...Chicken was perfectly cooked and you had managed to perfectly balanced the spices. I don't know about others but for me the taste was pretty refreshing and new. I guess most of our Euro friends found it a little bit spicy. What to do! That how we do chicken in our ways!

Fahad, I gotta try heating up Paratas without burning my fingers. You've got the skill mate. And Pooja, thanks for the drinks and plates babe.. (and for all the cooking instructions, which I did not follow..lol). Ritesh, dude... You are the man my friend. If it wasn't in your flat, we would never be able to bring this thing off. Hates off to everyone! And oh! I made the Rice. I guess it came very nicely.

Schizophrenia

I found this interesting article on the internet. It is from a legitimate source and I have properly acknowledge the source. The reason why I'm posting this is that I know a person who suffers from some sort of an illness like this. It may not be the same but something similar. And this will also be helpful in understanding the character in Mr. Foxy and his wonderland.

"Schizophrenia is a psychological disorder or mental illness that involves severely disturbed moods, thoughts, and behaviors. Researchers aren't certain exactly what causes schizophrenia. Many people with schizophrenis have lost touch with reality and can't distinguish fact from fantasy....People with schizophrenia believe their hallucinations are real – and the rest of the world is crazy. This makes it difficult to communicate with them, or even attempt to help....People with schizophrenia experience changes in thinking, talking, and behaving are likely – as is social isolation or withdrawal. People with schizophrenia also experience feelings of anxiety and confusion, as well as distorted perceptions of reality or hallucinations. Severe episodes could involve rigid, frozen behavior (sitting or standing completely still for hours at a time) or jumpy nervous actions (pacing, rocking back and forth constantly).
Other symptoms of schizophrenia include:

* Hearing voices (auditory hallucinations)
* Delusions of persecution (paranoia)
* Illogical thinking
* Decreased emotional expressions
* Inconsistent thoughts and actions (eg, laughing while describing the hatred of everyone)
* Dangerous behaviors and feelings of invincibility"

Mr. Foxy & his Wonderland... Exclusively on JunkYard!

In your life sometimes you find people who are lost. Lost in their mythical beliefs and no longer can be fitted into normal society without complete rehabilitation. This is a story about a person, who does not know who he really is but, lost in his own imaginations and his own world which is non-existent rather than a fantasy, which some people might call it.

In this story I will call him Mr. Foxy. However, he is a little bit famous for his wicked behaviors and stupidity. Actually Mr. Foxy is a celebrity in some way or another as Mr. Foxy managed to entertain people for many years. But his limited brain capacity and his own set of frameworks to measure the world has kept him blind and deaf for many years. That is why there is so much trouble. Without confusing you all anymore, Let me begin the story, the story of Mr. Foxy and his Wonderland..........

Stay tuned... EXCLUSIVELY ON JUNKYARD!!!

Gone away are the golden days!

After very long break I finally decided to write something...something real. I could not think of any topic though.

How do you feel when you listen to one of your favorite but old songs which you haven't got a chance to listen to lately? Let me be clear, what if that song was aired or you used to listen to during the best times of your life? When you hear such a song, or album, the feeling you get is amazing. I highly doubt if someone can put that into words.

It is so wonderful and suddenly all those sweet memories started coming back. All the pains you had gone through, sorrows, miseries and above all, the tears of joy, laughs, friends and family, love that you share, jokes you used to crack, stupid things you did and enjoyed, all the humiliation you had faced, achievements, victories and many more... keep coming back.

I believe it is so true with something that you fancy watching, like a movie or a TV series. You may have life experience as in the story, or you have a story happened around the movie or the TV series. Either way, both look inseparable. Every time you watch it, your mind starts a journey to past, touches all the sweet memories, and of course the bad ones too. Its just wonderful. You may miss that past, but you still love it.

Kate Voegele is one of my favorite singers. She may not necessarily famous, but famous enough to touch my feelings. I just love her album "Don't Look Away". It totally takes me into the best days of my life. The one I had with all my friends and family. Its funny because My favorite TV series also does the same. And, all Kate's songs were featured in that show. When ever I watch it, When ever I hear her songs, I feel like I'm alive.. But also, deeply miss my family and friends and the life I used to have. I just get lost in my sweet memories.

Shia Saide LaBeouf - aka Samuel James Witwicky

Shia Saide LaBeouf is a Daytime Emmy Award and BAFTA winning American actor and comedian. In 2007, LaBeouf starred in Disturbia, a thriller released on April 13. He played a teenager under house arrest who suspects that his neighbor, played by David Morse, is a serial killer. The film was a hit and LaBeouf received positive reviews for the role, with the Buffalo News stating that LaBeouf "has grown into an appealing, bright young actor who is able to simultaneously pull off [the character's] anger, remorse and intelligence", Kurt Loder of MTV writing that LaBeouf "gets his star ticket decisively punched", and the San Francisco Chronicle noting that LaBeouf is "fast becoming the best young actor in Hollywood".

In comparing the film with Rear Window, The New York Daily News described LaBeouf's appeal as "more John Cusack than Jimmy Stewart". Also in 2007, LaBeouf provided a voice role as Cody Maverick in the animated film Surf's Up and played teenager Sam Witwicky, who becomes involved in the Autobot-Decepticon war on Earth, in Michael Bay's Transformers, released on July 3. LaBeouf has said that he is a fan of The Transformers television series and the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie, and executive producer Steven Spielberg cast him in the role having been impressed by his performance in Holes. Disturbia was the most important film to LaBeouf of his three 2007 films, because it was a "character-driven" role.
