Have You Ever Been Labeled?

Well, I'm back after a quite long time. So to start off, I'm thinking about putting some thoughts about how people tend to label people just by looking at the mere past or present.

You might remember when you were at school your teacher scolding you, yelling at you saying you would never pass your exams or you would never get in to a good university. Also, you may remember how your parents were worrying about you not getting more than 75% for your math exam thinking you would never be like your brother or sister or even your friend who was much brighter than you. Well, I have news for you. Its too early to judge and label a person and his or her future just by looking at how he or she is performing at school/college or even at university level. Because you never know what will happen in the future and, what comes up on his or her way. Some people might call this destiny but I'll let you decide that.

I can draw many examples from the history such as Albert Einstein, Adolf Hitler, and even Bill Gates. Those examples are just one click away. Among them, you will find some are strongly inspirational. You might call them exceptional cases. But what would you call my friends who were notorious and nothing but playful, passed their exams, top ranked, got into best universities to study highly demanded subjects? And friends who had no distinctions for A/Ls but now earning millions? I'm not trying to say that people who get good remarks and pat on their backs will not perform in the future but, simply, hard work pays off. It does not necessarily have to be on education, but any other area which you are interested in. Arts, music, business, traveling, sports, construction, writing, it could be anything. Don't let people around you fool you & bring you down. And also, don't let somebody else define your future, you define your own future. Go for your dreams. Work hard, and one day you will succeed.
